Mochlos is a charming seaside village tucked away a few kilometres from the road running from Sitia to Aghios Nikolaos. The village has a great selection of fish restaurants and cafeterias whilst still remaining unspoilt by mass tourism. There is a very pretty coastline along this stretch, an archaelogical site close by as well as the island of Psira, which was home to a Minoan settlement. There is a bus service which runs from Sitia, Aghios Nikolaos and on to Heraklion.
